A tale of two Clapham weddings

Overheard at the Bistro Union, Abberville Road, Clapham

Couple A and Couple B both got engaged over Christmas.
Couple A were looking at a gallery space in town but found the events manager patronising, who did she think she was.
Couple B were quite keen on Pennyhill Park but had a few other places to look at that were less expensive.
Couple A thought about Pennyhill Park but wanted something a bit different, a bit more with it, you know.
Couple A were going to pull some strings with their cousin that worked at Universal Music to sort out a brilliant DJ because they didn't want any old random from the venue, same goes for the flowers and decor.
Couple B laughed.
Couple A were hiring a photographer friend of a friend who shoots for magazines; who does wedding photos these days?
Couple B laughed.
Couple A were getting the wedding dress made by a friend who used to work at Lanvin, you know. Couple B weren't sure whether they wanted to do morning suits or not.
Couple A laughed.
Couple A were thinking of Zanzibar or The Philippines, somewhere really exotic, not like Europe or the Caribbean, you know.
Couple B asked for the bill.
